In discussing architectural research method,there have always been a controversy between design and research,which is demonstrated as "research by design " and "research into the design," as embodied in the methods as "rule center" and "model center",traditional architectural research centre is rules and reflects the composition of the world,this trend makes architectural design and research separation,and specific studies splits into the science and philosophy,literature and art,the autonomy of the subjects were damaged,and the methodology of "research by design" define model,especially dynamic model as the center which shows the generation of the world,it will be able to remove the contradictions of"rule center" in specific circumstances,so the links between design and research can be improved and the autonomy of the subjects can be found.
