Total Productive Maintenance(TPM)is an efficient path through enhancing productive to improve the coer competitiveness of enterprise. The objective and operation weakness of lack of identifying potential failure factor; systemically of TPM are introduced. The schemes of integrating AFD method are applied into TPM so as to improve correctness of establishing equipment maintenance items and to reduce the equipment failure. The validity of methods of integrating AFD into TPM is verified with an example.
