Aimed at the large deformation and nonlinear characteristics of the steel bar in the bending process,the finite element model of the steel bar bending hoop system were established by using the finite element analysis software ANSYS/LS-DYNA.The process of the reinforcing steel bar bending was simulated and the bending stress changes of the steel bar in different time were analyzed.When the bending angle of the steel bar closed to zero,the biggest stress occurred in the contacting part of the steel bar and the bending hoop Teleflex.With the time increasing,the steel bar and stirrup mode of contacting part stress increased rapidly,and the maximum stress gradually neared from the edge of the steel bar to the center.
