The development and distribution character of high-layer building roof in Qingdao city are discussed briefly in the article.The four forms of the high-layer building's roof are pointed out by combining with actual examples.Through the study in Qingdao high-layer building roof,we submit that their forms are lack in the cultures of regional and the concept of eco-energy and saving.And it is more adapted to the formalism and assimilation in the form outlook of contemporary international in practice,and finally the author proposes one point of geographical and ecological to remedy design shortcomings of the high-layer building's roof in Qingdao city.
