Academy is a unique educational institution in ancient China it has a great influence on our ancient culture education and the development of academic thought. Classical academy gardens are the product basing on the academy developed mature. On the basis of preliminary research and investigation on Dacheng Academy of Fugou，the paper researched its historical evolution and analyzed artistic characteristics of Dacheng Academy. The paper expounded the cultural connotations of the classical academy gardens and studied the influence of its founder-Cheng Hao's Philosophy thinking on Dacheng Academy and afterward times in order to carry forward the traditional academy gar-dens culture.
