Guo River is the inland river flowing through the whole center of TongXu County,the waterfront landscape planning of its western line directly affects the development of the city.In the re-spect to the history and culture of TongXu County and protecting the ecological environment,makinguse of the ecological culture resources,integrating urban culture design elements,and presenting thespace landscape features of Guo River waterfront will be the essence of the whole program.Concern-ing with the researches on historical and cultural connotation of TonXu County,and considering withthe real life example of Waterfront Park of Guo River,this article elaborates the usage and upgradingof culture elements in waterfront landscape,and create the sustainable development of urban water-front environment in TongXu County.
