The periodic torque ripple is one of the main shortcomings for switched reluctance motor( SRM),the resulting vibration and noise has been an important factor of restricting its development.This paper analyzes and calculates the SRM based on rotor skewing,this paper analyzes the influence of rotor skewing to static characteristics and compared with the straight rotor structure. Analysis shows that the rotor skewing can effectively improve the performance of the motor,and can weaken the torque ripple in a certain extent.
