In response to the urgent need to improve efficiency in traditional site selection design me-thods, an intelligent site selection method based on GIS+BIM fusion is proposed for microsite selection of wind farms. By integrating multiple sources of data such as geographic environment and business data, a digital twin containing spatial databases is constructed. Combining genetic algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm, visual and intelligent site selection of wind farms is achieved. Through pilot application analysis, this method meets the design accuracy requirements for the initial site selection of wind farms, increases overall efficiency by 60%, and reduces overall costs by 66%.
