Velocity analysis is a very important step in seismic data processing. Its quality influences the moveout and static correction and further on the stack imaging and migration.This article discusses velocity analysis methods in different processing software(take PROMAX、FOCUS、CGG software as example),and compares their advantage and disadvantage,which help us to process different quality seismic data.
