    Abstract:

According to the Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian(ALE) description,a numerical simulation approach for wind induced response analysis of membrane-cable structures in three dimensions has been accomplished with recent international computation techniques. The results show that the influence of coupling effect to the distribution form of wind pressure isnot significant. The negative pressure occurs in the windward area, and the air pressure near the edge is smaller than other parts;the high-negative pressure occurs in the middle of the windward side and the high positive pressure in the center. The membrane-cable structure is restrained by the coupling effect,of which the displacement and stress decrease.
