By studying the heating principle of the passive solar warm livestock shed and the active and passive mixed solar warm livestock shed,this paper gave the basic structure of two solar sheds and heating system,and compared their characteristics.We summarized to promote the use of active and passive mixed solar warm livestock shed could efficiently solve problems that livestock over winter in the agricultural and pastoral areas of Inner Mongolia.It enhanced greatly use efficiency and performance of livestock feed,reduced feeding costs and mortality rates of young animals,really made the development of stockbreeding to release from cold constraints.
