    Abstract:

The three- dimensional space whole model of cold- formed thin一walled steel residential build- ing with different floors was established by using the finite element analysis software SAP2000, the struck tural response of which was analyzed when the seismic fortification intensities were 7 aril 8. The results in- dicate that the cold一formed th in一walled steel residential building has a well integral behavior and the maximum of story drift angle meets the requirement of the current national criteria; the model of cold- formed thin- walled steel residential building was appropriate to reach the six一storey and the maximum height was 18m at the 8 seismic fortification intensities and below.
