    Abstract:

In view of the predicting of the multi-arch tunnel deformation based on Gray system theory, and basing on taking Tian'e tunnel as a research background, this paper builds the grey prediction model〔GM(1,1)〕combining with the software of MATLAB to predict the settlement of the multiple- arch tunnel for analysis, and the predicted result are analyzed and compared with field monitoring results, it is found that both the numerical values are close. The results show that the values of the horizontal displacement and early vault settlement of the tunnel, which inputs the GM (1,1) model, can accurately predict the future value of surrounding rock deformation in a short time, and select the appropriate order for the model will improve prediction accuracy, In addition, this prediction model might be applied in dynamic design of foundation pit and information construction.
