In order to verify the feasibility of surveying topographic map with UAV images in mining area,this paper has taken the updates of basic topographic map of mining area of Jizhong Energy Handan Mining Group Taihang Mining Co.Ltd.for example and have practiced a set of aerial photogrammetry methods of large-scale topographic map,and have analyzed aerial triangulation and mapping accuracy.The plane precision of checkpoints are all within 0.25m,and there are 80.1% elevation points which are less than the standard error.The topographic map has met the needs of production operations of mining area.
