    Abstract:

    The modified kaolin clay/SBRnanocomposite prepared through the latex compounding method has excellent dispersibility, which doesn't exist reunion phenomenon even if 50Phr kaolin wasadded. The problems arethe delay of curing starting pointandsignificantly prolonged of curing time. Through infrared (FTIR) analysis, it was found that the hydroxyl on the surface of the kaolinite has strong adsorption ability, which can absorb the moisture in the air andparticleswith unpaired electron.It can effectively shorten the curing time of the composite material by using the chelating agent TEA and alcohols PEG600 to coat the kaolin surface.
