      2009, 26(3):1-3.

      Abstract (222) HTML (0) PDF 263.63 K (364) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Tianjin Haihe Bengbu Bridge is built in CBD of Tianjin city and crosses the Haihe River;it is dissymmetrical steel bridge of three dimensions Beam-Arch Combination System. The bridge is complex for both mechanical and tectonic consideration. The bracing member of abutment 1st and 6th are designed specially, which connect the main girder of the bridge and the rubber bearing of abutment. These buttress braces are designed uniquely in the world,in order to transfer large-tonnage axial load, including compressive force and tensile force,to bearings. The loading behavior of them are significant effect to the security of the bridge and need to be analyzed specially,so a 1:2.5-scale model is made, destructive experiment of experimental member is done.Experiment member is elastic based on experimental data at tension load;limit axis load is 3002kN when the member is buckling.Except model experiment,a finite element analysis of model is also essential.Through experiment and finite element analysis, the reliability and safety of the bearings are verified.

      2009, 26(3):4-7,11.

      Abstract (155) HTML (0) PDF 382.76 K (362) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The calculation model for the collaborative analysis of frame-shear wall structure was established by considering partial floor deformation, the flat structure of flexible floor is divided into several regions, each of lateral force-resisting members can be seen as a frame-wall modules, and flexible floor role can be seen as a elastic support unit. The derived solving dual system for analysis of synergies was derived by using Hamiltonian mechanics;the structure of displacement and internal force of the numerical solution were derived by using precise integration method.Example calculation results indicate that the method is high precision.

      2009, 26(3):12-14.

      Abstract (169) HTML (0) PDF 279.66 K (381) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The push-over analysis is a simplified method to evaluating structural anti-earthquake function which is gradually used widely. While the shaped-steel reinforced concrete-reinforced concrete(SRC-RC) structure is often used in the earthquake-stricken areas for its virtues, including high bearing capacity, strong stiffness, excellent ductility and less energy consumption. With mathod of the push-over analysis, this research concisely analyzed the damage to the SRC-RC structure that might occur after the strong earthquake. The results show that the maximum elastic-plastic story-drift-angle of the SRC-RC structure is 1/407,which meets the requirement for elastic-plastic deformation of the weak storey under a rare earthquake.

      Abstract (258) HTML (0) PDF 404.58 K (417) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:In various factors that influence the concrete structure durability, coupling corrosion between reinforcement and concrete has been become the important destructive factors in existing concrete structures.Based on the previous test results to 14 corroded RC beams under different corrosion level of concrete and steel bar,the performance of the corroded RC beam under the concrete-reinforcement coupling corrosion is studied.According to those results, estimate methods on flexural capacity under different concrete-reinforcement coupling corrosion are proposed. In this study, effective estimate methods are found out through experiment, which can provide technical reference new thought for flexural capacity evaluation and strengthening design in RC beams under the concrete-reinforcement coupling corrosion, and also have some theoretic guide for practice.

    • Application of improved genetic algorithm in truss topology optimization

      2009, 26(3):19-21.

      Abstract (660) HTML (0) PDF 313.07 K (917) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Based on the topology optimization of truss, the genetic algorithm(GA) was improved more efficient. In the design of size and topological structure of the truss, binary encoding, crossover and mutation for size and topology variables were adopted separately and the initial solution was gained, with the accuracy of the size variable coding properly reduced to speed up the convergence of the GA.In order to prevent trapping in local optimal solution,a portion of initial solution was added to the new parents, and then the size of section was recoded and the final solution was searched in a better precision.Examples show that the method is effective to the topology optimization design of truss structures with discrete variables.

    • Estimation of cable tension frequency- based system identification method considering support vibration

      2009, 26(3):22-25.

      Abstract (373) HTML (0) PDF 270.35 K (395) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:In order to enhance the identification precision, the flexure stiffness and support vibration are considered to model the cable, and the model is analyzed to obtain the displacement function and the relationship between cable tension force and frequency. We carry out several studies which have demonstrated that if the cable tension is little, the cable tension force considering the support vibration will be larger than the force omitting the vibration, but along with cable tension increasing the discrepancy becomes less,so the model considering the support vibration can accurately model the cable structure.

    • Study on the hysteretic behavior of cold-formed thin-walled steel tube beams subjected to low-cycle reversed loading

      2009, 26(3):26-30.

      Abstract (293) HTML (0) PDF 462.46 K (427) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:In this paper,8 pieces of cold-formed thin-walled steel tube beams subjected to low-cycle reversed loading were tested, and nonlinear finite element analysis were also conducted to explore the effects of span to height ratios and width to thickness ratios of cross-section on the hysteretic behavior, ductility, and the ability of energy dissipation. Some important conclusions can be extracted from the experiments and the nonlinear analysis and listed as follows:(1)The cold-formed thin-walled steel tube beams exhibited stable hysteresis behavior up to local buckling and then showed considerable good ductility and the good ability of energy dissipation. The pinch-crinkle phenomena didn't occur in the hysteresis loops of load-displacement.(2) The hysteresis behavior and ductility of cold-formed thin-walled steel tube beams depended on the span to height ratios and width to thickness ratios.(3) The proposed nonlinear FE model could accurately predict the overall seismic behavior and the inelastic performance of the cold-formed thin-walled steel tube beams. The hysteresis loops from nonlinear FE models under low-cycle reversed loading agreed well with those from the low-cyclic reversed loading tests.

    • Damage detection for elastic thin plate with four simply clamped edges based on curvature model difference

      2009, 26(3):31-36.

      Abstract (301) HTML (0) PDF 450.31 K (433) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Taking the clamped slab as the study object, the research simulated the structural damage by changing the elastic modulus of elements and detected the damage based on the vibration modes, the frequency, and the mode curvature difference respectively. The results show that the vibration modes and the frequency changed too little to identify the damaged location in the thin slab with small area damaged, while the curvature mode difference of the damage element changed obviously. Therefore the location of the structure damage can be identified exactly by using the method of the curvature mode difference.

      2009, 26(3):37-39,43.

      Abstract (241) HTML (0) PDF 276.87 K (405) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Stress-strain relations for soils depend heavily on consolidation stress. The relativity appears as normalization character of clays silty.Clay is wildly distributed over Handan area, and often used as the bearing stratum of buildings. This paper analyses the normalization condition of stress-strain relation for clays of Handan in consolidated undrained triaxial test. The results show that if stress-stain relation of soils is considered as the Kondner hyperbolic function, the normalization character is bad whenσ3m and(σ13)ult serve as parameters, and good when(σ3)n and(σm)n are adopted;the best normalized curve is chosen then.
