As a key carrier of the Chinese nation’s fine family traditions and teachings, genealogy bears rich historical information and family sentiments, and serves as a powerful driving force for China’s social and economic development. Xiong’an New Area, as a model region with profound cultural heritage and diverse surname cultures, boasts particularly rich genealogical culture. Through in-depth field research in the three counties of Xiong’an New Area and combined with historical documents and oral interviews, this paper explores the historical context and cultural connotations of Xiong’an genealogies, and proposes corresponding measures for the safeguarding and continuity of Xiong’an genealogical culture, thus promoting the multidimensional integration and coexistence of its historical and cultural elements. In this sense, this paper aims to consolidate cultural support and spiritual guidance for the comprehensive construction of a modern, economically strong, and beautiful Hebei.
