Ancient Chinese course in Universities is very important. It is offered in many majors such as Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese International Education and so on. Learning ancient Chinese well in Universities is a "knocking brick" to learn phonology, ancient literature, philology and other courses. However, there are still many problems in teaching ancient Chinese in University classes, the traditional teaching methods, lacking of interaction, are inadequate when applied in multimedia teaching and inefficient classroom learning. Multi-mode teaching should be able to solve some of these problems.
