In the process of construction of characteristic towns, the groups of land—lost farmers face with problems, such as difficulties in safeguarding their rights, social exclusion and social class differentiation. By highlighting the characteristic industries, treating the development of different types of characteristic towns, focusing on the development of tourism characteristic commodities, and developing leisure agriculture and improving social security, we can enhance the reemployment of the land—lost farmers and alleviate the social instability caused by lost land.
