As an important component of the urban economy, the night-time economy is of great significance for stimulating the economic growth, improving the quality of life, and enhancing the charm of the city. In January 2020, the Hefei Municipal Government promulgated the "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Promotion of Night-time Economic Development" for the first time, clearly defining a high-quality night-time business consumption environment with the theme of "Night Hefei". In order to promote the high-quality development of the night-time economy in Hefei, in this paper, the advantages and disadvantages, as well as opportunities and challenges of Hefei in developing night-time economy are systematically analyzed by SWOT-PEST analysis method from the dimensions of politics, economy, society and technology. On the basis of the analysis, the countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of systematic scheme, highlight creation, improvement of security, publicity and marketing are proposed in order to promote the healthy development of night-time economy of Hefei, finally to establish an international, inclusive and diverse night-time economic model system.
