To learn comprehensively the senior talents'living status and provide reference for government's decision- making,through samping survey and personel visiting,we made a survey on the living and working status of the masters and doctors,and results indicates that the major problems are that compared to the avergae level of our whole country, the total quantity of masters and doctors is small and the their income is low,in additon,the condition for conducting sci- ence and reserch is limited.When job-satisfaction is concemed,doctors'job satisfaction is especialy low.The main problem is the condition for conducing science and reserchis limited.Facing the above problems,Handan city should take feasible measures to realize the sustainable develoment in the future.
