American writer Robert James Waller has been popular among the world ever since its publication.It is a sad but bkeautiful love story and very moving.Its charm lies in the story itself and clear stylistic feature is also one of the ma- in factors of its success.Its special narrative method is also attractive.The paper tries to analyze its stylistic features from its inward and outward narrative tactics in order to understand its subject and art ualue more deeply.
