College students' English performance is an important manifestation of their overall quality;however,the current situation in English communication is generally not optimistic.It is all educators that should be concerned about how to improve the English skills by making use of available resources.With such characteristics as sound,literate,picture and image,native English acoustic material plays a significant roll in improving college students' English skills.From this point of view,the paper tries to analyze principles of choosing the material and its application in order to find the answer.
