语用学尤其是关联理论对语境的研究为等效翻译的实现提供了依据。语境是"理解某个话语所使用的各个前提的集合"。语境研究突出了语用等效并且提升了译文接受者在翻译活动中的地位。
The study of context in Pragmatics,especially the relevant theory,proved the possibility of equivalent translation.The study of context emphasizes on the pragmatic equivalence and elevates receptors' role in the translation activity.
