Abstract:Recently,termination of the employment contract between Wuhan University and seriously ill Professor Zhang Zaiyuan was publicized in the media and aroused hot discussion.This event exposed that the management of teachers recruited from outside has yet to be further improved after the reform of university personnel system.Affirming the fact that university teachers recruited from outside definitely made certain achievements,this paper indicates the problems in the management of teachers recruited from outside in many universities.The contracts between universities and teachers recruited from outside are labor contracts and the management of teachers recruited from outside should be normalized under the guidance of Labor Contract Law and relevant labor laws and regulations.This can promote independent employment of universities,maintain the legitimate rights and interests of universities and teachers recruited from outside.
