Abstract:The Boxers Movement in Zhili Province is closely related to gentry.The paper makes an initial exploration of the situation of gentry in Zhili Province in the end of 19th century,including constitution,characteristics and psychology to further explore the social structure in Zhili Province in the end of 19th century and the relationship between gentry and Boxers Movement in Zhili Province.
