Women in Love is one of D.H.Lawrence's major works and a controversial one.The paper will try to analyze the main female characters through three aspects: women's improvement of self-consciousness,women's achievement in social values,and women's pursuit of harmonious marriage,from a feminist perspective,intending to examine Lawrence's view of womanhood and attitudes towards women.
