Report on the work of the Government(RWG) belongs to a kind of political comment style,and the translation of RWG is quite important.From the perspective of Venuti's domestication and foreignization translation theories and based on RWG bilingual parallel corpus,this paper studies the translation of one of the high frequency words "加强" in original RWG,aiming to explore the translation strategies and methods used in translation of "加强".
