Under the background of global warming in the world and Xinjiang,extreme weather and climate of frequently occur in Xinjiang.Disaster prevention and reduction are more and more serious.The climate tends to change from being warm-dry to being warm-wet.However,precipitation increases because of climate warming,in the meantime,amount of river runoff has the tendency of increasing,causing the changes of water resources.Thus,ecological environment is affected: desert area expands and overall and overlapping area of oasis decreases.Due to climate change in Xinjiang,negative impacts of human activities,inefficient use of resources and irrational economic structure,the situation of water resources in Xinjiang is still quite severe,which greatly influences the ecological environment.
