Xijiangyue,a poem,was composed by Xin Qi-ji when he was demoted in Jiangxi.The beautiful summer village scenery can be felt from description of the visual,auditory and olfactory aspects,so the poetic language expressions of feelings are what the writer Xin Qi-ji sees and hears through his personal experience.Poetry is a special mode of expression resulting from the strong feeling of human cognitive activity,the result of particular conceptualization,a form of expression of the human cognitive world(spiritual) experience,and language is the fruit of human cognition.Therefore,poem is based on human cognition and experience.Accordingly,cognitive poetics-a new approach,can be adopted to analyze local works.
