With the transformation from “testing education” to “quality education” in China, and the popularity of computer assisted instruction(CAI)，more and more educators begin to study a new teaching mode based on CAI.Through several-year practice, the paper points out a new CAI teaching model under constructivism, that is “setting aim→instructing→testing→summing up”. Practice proves that the new pattern is beneficial to students’ active and comprehensive development.
