A rose to Emily is one of the best short novels written by William Faulkner who stands out as one ofthe giants among American novelists. The novel is considered brilliant work for its vagarious conception andambiguous subject. In this paper, the author trys to make a deep analysis of the novel from three dii}erent anglesthat are known as Realism, Psychoanalysis and Feminism. It aims to probe into the source of Emily's twistedcharacter and her tragic life.
