CDIO engineering education mode is the latest achievement which has resulted from the international engineering education reform in recent years. However, there are few studies to conduct the CDIO curriculum training mode in the construction of the entire curriculum implementation. Based on the CDIO training concept, the new course group system in mechanical design orientation sets specialty orientation course as a group course taking project design as the center to carry out an entire construction. And a good teaching effect has been obtained through conducting the teaching process, innovative teaching model and evaluation mechanism around project implementation.
