Economic growth is mainly dependent on the knowledge conversion and technological innovation inthe age of knowledge economy featured by the possession, production, distribution, dissemination of knowledgeand information. The cooperative innovation of industries, universities and research institutes is the inevitablechoice for enterprises to convert knowledge into technological innovation. Based on the actual situation of theprincipal institutions of industries, universities and research institutes in Handan city, this study, in order toprovide the theoretical basis for constructing the cooperative innovation system of industries, universities andresearch institutes, is well applied to the cooperative innovation mode, the subject and the object, and workingmechanism of industries, universities and research institutes which are suitable for the economic development ofHandan city.
