At present, the research of the evaluation index system of economic development pattern transformation is still at the exploratory stage in China, how to determine the evaluation index system of economic development pattern transformation has a great theoretical and practical significance. The paper, based on previous studies, establishes an evaluation index system which includes the economic growth, economic structure, economic benefit, innovation, resource and environment, social welfare and the people's livelihood. We evaluate the transformation of the economic development pattern of He nan Province from 2001 to 2010 and give some suggestions to the problems found.
