Jack London's many novels contain the elements of Bildungsroman. This paper analyzes its unique narrative theme--- binary opposition in The Call of the Wild and White Fang by combining the relevant theories of Bildungsroman. The purpose of it is to explain Jack London's inheritance and innovation to the traditional Bildungsroman and try to interpret his works from a new angle.
