Some scholars see him out of the standard of the Chinese knights-errant image, and some even see him as a representative of “anti-Chinese-knights-errant”. In fact, the distinctive feature of Wei Xiaobao reflects that to some extent Jin Yong denies Chinese knights-errant, which gives an end to the discourse of Chinese knights-errant.
