Abstract:That the entire wealth of society are shared by all the members is the goal that both eastern and weastern society are striving for. And the charitable cause is one of the approaches to achieve the goal. The charitable views of the west are based on strict private property, meaning that the premise of wealth-sharing is private ownership, which is the strong supporting point of weastern charitable cause. Comparatively speaking, the concept of private property is weak in Chinese traditional society, which influences the development of the charitable cause in our counry to some extent.
