Presently, English-major teaching confronts the issue of merging language teaching with professional background. Under CBI, English-major courses are divided into content course and skill-training course. This paper focuses on the teaching reform of skill-training courses, aiming to prove that CBI can facilitate language-skill training and ameliorate English-major's speculation-absence state, to enrich the concept of CBI and improve English-major teaching reform.
