This article researches on postgraduate spoken English teaching system within the frame of CDIO. This teaching system, based on individual learning programs, emphasizes not only cooperative learning, but also the idea of“learning by doing”. Therefore, it is effective in improving graduates'English communicative ability, interpersonal skills and even comprehensive ability, which is just the demands of global communication on talents.
