The theory of Multimodal Metaphor is of great guiding significance to the practice of multimedia teaching. After a literature review of the categorization of multimodal metaphor, this paper puts forward three aspects of multimodal metaphor design in classroom teaching:design of Multimodal Metaphor for knowledge, for classroom environment, and for entertainment.
