at present, the returned overseas Chinese in Hong Kong present a trend of aging. The issue of provision for the aged typically represents their living conditions. But due to historical reasons, this group drifts away from both the Main Island and Hong Kong's pension systems, and the provison for these aged can not be guaranteed. Facing this provision issue for the aged returned Chinese in Hong Kong, this paper proposes that the social community only plays an assistant role and it can not substitute the government's salvation role; proposes countermeasures to the issue, providing helpful suggestion for issues of future returned overseas Chinese in Hong Kong.
