After the founding of the People's Republic of China, during the National Day, especially every fifth or tenth anniversary of the National Day, the CPC held abundant commemorative activities, including the publication of editorial and commentary articles, parade and celebration, commemoration books and audio and video work publication. The new China's National Day celebrations, expressing the basic content of the situation, target, roads and depending strength of national construction, provided effective resources and support for the CPC to establish national construction discourse.
