The acceleration of the new urbanization and promotion of health system reform in Hebei province have brought opportunities for the development of communities' medical and health care; however, the current situation of urban and rural community health supporting in Hebei still faces many problems, such as narrow cognition and deficiency of high level personnel, etc. Therefore, it should further strengthen the publicity of the urban and rural community health supporting, establish and improve high-level personnel mechanism, and actively learn from foreign advanced experience of the community health in order to realize urban and rural community medical health sustainable development in Hebei province.
