In recent years, internet onomatopoetic words frequently emerge in verbal communications. Furthermore, they are taken to the increasing number of entertainment variety show on film and TV. In 2015,the series words headed by duang were crazed by the netizens. Other than duang~duang, there are more internet onomatopoetic words like xiuxiu、biubiu、piapia, etc, which are generally accepted and spread. This thesis explores the language features of duang series words from the four aspects of phonetics, lexics, grammar and pragmatics, argues that internet onomatopoetic words enrich and develop cyberspeaks.
