Abstract:It is a case study of C-E translation of the propaganda album text of Chongzuo,Guangxi in the light of Reception Aesthetics.Findings include:translators should take priority of the target readers' horizon of expectations,familiarize the structural and lingustic features of the target parallel text and flexibly utilize translation methods like literal translation,paraphrase,annotation,ommision to make similar.As for unique local culture notions,translators should be creative to expand the reader's horizon of expectations and spread local culture.Keywords:receptional aesthetic;propaganda album;translation method
