A long-term ruling party is commonly practiced by the socialist countries. In the current period of Chinese one-party rule, under the new situation, to set firmly the party's policy and lead all Chinese people to realize the great Renaissance of the Chinese nation mission,the Communist Party of China needs to maintain close contact with the broad mass of people. There are advantages as well as disadvantages in the one-party ruling in China:it is better to develop the welfare of the people from a long-term and comprehensive point of view; however, it is more likely for the ruling party to be disconnected with the mass due to no competition between the parties. Under the condition of the party's long-term administration, we should pay attention to keep a close touch with the mass and keep in mind our party's objective when carrying out the mass line. We should focus on the immediate interests of the general people and their practical problems, and set up a long-term mechanism to make our party closely connected with the mass.
