With the development of industrial civilization, people's life has been improved, but their moral, social and life values have been distorted. Excessive material pursuit cause great damage on the harmonious relationship among people, society, and nature. The paper tries to explore the natural, social and spiritual ecological ideas implied in Kipling's short novels in the angel of eco-criticism to find factors and reasons causing social and spiritual problems.
