Abstract:The transformation from local colleges and university to the applied undergraduate colleges, requires the teaching of college English writing explore application development model, which focus on training students' professional English expression and writing ability. However, the goal of current college English writing instruction has not been applied to transition. The teaching class hour of writing is limited, at the same time because of a shortage of students' reading, writing training intensity and self-consciousness is not high enough, and some problems such as negative transfer of mother tongue phenomenon, lead to poor performance of college English writing instruction, students' English writing ability is not strong, cannot adapt to the career development needs. To this, the goal of the local college English writing teaching should be applied as transformation, and develop college English into specialized business English according to the different professional requirements in terms of college English writing teaching. At the same time, we should increase the teaching of English writing class, improve writing strength training, cultivate students' writing consciousness, and increasing the original English reading to avoid negative transfer of mother tongue phenomenon appeared in the process of writing.
