网络环境下元认知知识与元认知策略相关性探析

    摘要:

    元认知在网络环境下的大学英语自主学习能力培养过程中意义重大。经过一次短期培训,虽然学习者在元认知总水平上有所提高,但构成元认知的各分项目并没有呈均衡发展,元认知知识水平的提升高于元认知策略水平。二元变量相关分析显示,元认知知识与元认知策略呈较强正相关,说明元认知知识的培养会最终导致元认知策略水平的提高。多因素单变量方差分析结果指出,策略元认知知识和个体元认知知识是影响元认知策略水平的主要因素,因而在对学习者进行更加深入的元认知培训时,可以把重点放在策略元认知知识和个体元认知知识方面,以达到培训工作效率的最大化。

    Abstract:

    Metacognition plays a vital role in the cultivation of autonomous learning capacity in the web-based College English learning environment.After a short training program,the trainees' metacognitive competence was somewhat upgraded,yet the sub-components of their metacognition failed to develop evenly,their metacognitive knowledge witnessing more progress than their metacognitive strategy.A bivariate correlation analysis shows a strong positive correlation between metacognitive knowledge and strategy,suggesting that the cultivation of metacognitive knowledge results in the improvement of metacognitive strategy.A test of between-subjects effects in the univariate analysis of variance reveals that the metacognitive knowledge of strategy variable and the metacognitive knowledge of person variable contribute most to the establishment of metacognitive strategy,highlighting a necessary shift of focus onto the two types of knowledge when furthering metacognition cultivation.
